Pendant light 78 cm/33W – round, black, plant feature

RIO BIO 78 is a pendant light designed to make greenery part of the lighting composition. The slim black aluminium ring gives the piece a clean architectural outline, while the open centre is arranged for trailing plants that soften the geometry and bring a more natural presence into the room.

With its 78 cm round form, the fixture has enough visual scale for a dining table, kitchen island, lounge setting or hospitality interior. The black finish frames the leaves with a crisp modern contrast, and the low 4 cm profile keeps the ring elegant rather than heavy. A 200 cm suspension height gives flexibility when positioning it in rooms with different ceiling levels.

The integrated 33W LED source provides neutral 4000K illumination, a practical tone for everyday interiors where clarity matters. CRI98 color rendering is a standout detail: food, foliage, wood, fabric and wall finishes appear more faithful and refined under the light, which is especially valuable in spaces built around material quality.

Visually, the product is distinctive because the light and planting work together instead of competing. When illuminated, the inner ring creates a bright, even contour beneath the black frame, while the hanging leaves add depth, movement and a softer mood. It suits modern interiors that want a biophilic element without losing a precise, minimalist character.

The fixture can also be ordered with several control options, including remote control, app control, DALI or PUSH DIMM. That makes RIO BIO adaptable for private homes as well as designed restaurants, offices, reception areas and boutique commercial spaces where lighting scenes need to be controlled with more precision.
